If you count the syllables the first line is 6 the second line 9 and the third line 6. A haiku has 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second line, and 5 in the last line. A haiku was supposed to only have 17 syllables not 21.
Is Sensei just rotating the 6 to a 9? Is this another type of poetry? Or is this for the April Fools party?
